Wood
Pros: Cheap
Easy to change shape or size as your needs for space change
DIY - most people would be able to build it from scratch or make modifications (e.g. add windows)
Can be converted to chazzon ish (replace metal screws with peg screws)
Can integrate a schlock to the structure
Cons: Heavy, Can warp over time. (note: if you use enough fasteners and are also careful to assemble it balanced this can be minimized)
         Needs lots of storage space

Fiberglass
Pros: Easy Setup (on level ground)
Length/width is reconfigurable (you just need to buy a few 2x4 beams if you change layout)
Cons: Expensive
Greenhouse effect on hot days (need to budget for several open/shut windows)
Connection threads can become bent even with proper storage (need to budget for the odd panel replacement here and there)
         Can Crack or Break

Canvas
Pros: Setup in minutes
Cons: Not accepted by all poskim
         Poor protection from cold Weather
         Wind Can be bothersome.

Looks like it's sukkah banners/murals, not actual sukkahs.
(I'd think a scenery of Moraine lake in Banff is more of a noy sukkah than shuk machnei yehuda...)
He sells actual Sukkahs, too. We both got one. It's called Sukkah kits on the site.

Any suggestions for best tapes to use when decorating the Sukkah that will stay up though the rain without leaving too much residue when removed? I have thin plywood panels for walls that I waterproofed myself. Last year I mostly used thumbtacks/pushpins, but it seems like it will allow water in, so I'm thinking I should stick with tape. I see 3m has an exterior rated painters tape, but it only comes in yellow - I'd much rather black or white (or something closer to light wood tones).

In terms of quality it will be hard to know because most people just get one company and stick with it.

In terms of price, Sukkah Center< Sukkah Outlet < Leiter's , and Sukkah Depot only sends a quote if you request.

For example, for an 8x12 with one door and no windows without schach:
SC $1710 SO $2050 L $2150
All are plus tax and shipping and some may not ship on time without expedited shipping which may change the equation.
Small people talk about other people.
Average people talk about things
BIG PEOPLE TALK ABOUT IDEAS.

The other thing is that at these prices you’d hope a Sukkah lasts at very least10 years, hopefully double that or more, and these companies are likely to change things in their manufacturing (vendors, materials, methods, hardware, maybe even engineering/design) more often than that. So the ones that were bought from those brands 15 years ago are not the same as you’d buy now, and the ones you buy now are not the ones they’ll sell in 15 years.

Pretty sure sukkah depot is basically unchanged for prob 10 years at least.

most Velcro will work. I'm using this to mount the removable top portion of my deck walls.

We're using dry erase board the kids will be drawing on it and hanging decorations on it.

You don't need something this heavy duty.

The kids will draw decorations in dry erase? What about rain and smudging?

Any suggestions here re. schach mats?
I prefer the kney soof since they use natural fibers (halachic advantage) but last year they went moldy.
Anyone know the details of other mats?

if you want it to be fairly strong and hold, I'd suggest an inexpensive set of ratchet straps.

Attach hose clamps around the bars and run the string around that.
