I've seen him fit into tighter spaces. Actually, not sure fit is the right word...

Case in point:

(see: https://forums.dansdeals.com/index.php?topic=65070.msg1592118#msg1592118 for description)

Quote
Either way, I say option 1 as well considering that it's a (i) busy Friday (ii) during the winter (iii) in NYC and if anything goes (stays?) south he'd be away from his family for the 3'rd Shabbos.

It's a tough call. If it were possible, I'd book both, and see how weather is that day. If all seems OK I'd probably go with option 3. Getting home grumpy from a long uncomfortable flight might not be the best kind of Shabbos for the family.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

Just another *A option.
That's a fallback option? Get on a flight there and stay shabbos?

Fly to and from EWR on a Friday? Do I look stupid?
Who said anything about flying?

You'll be with him in EZE.

Earliest we can leave EZE is 9pm. Only EZE-USA flights will arrive on time.

Depends how you define "on time".

There's a Copa flight arriving NYC before 1pm.

No availability anywhere, but worst case UA's standard awards are somewhat tolerable. AA's, not so much.

So if a 767 won't work, a 737 is the solution!

All we need to round out the experience is a ride in compact Hyundai to/from the airports.

Yep. Although both of those legs might get the 737 MAX 9 with the lie flat biz seats. No idea on the roll-out timeline though.
