Option 1
Provided you can ise lounge during layover.
F on the long haul no doubt.
The only issue is, doesn't seem like the F lounge has any sort of rooms to be able to sleep in. So it's just sitting on a chair, in the lounge, for half the night.

Option 1.

Option 2 has a long layover.
Also option 1 give potentially time to sleep on the flight
While Option 2 - layover is the middle of night with a really long stop.
That's true, but with an overnight layover I can get a hotel and a normal night's sleep.

So far, I have option 1 booked though.

Remember that when flying with an infant / small child, every hour you save is worth a lot more then “a little better seat for the adults”.

Not to mention, the double loading and unloading, and spending time / shlepping through connecting airport is another headache to be avoided.

TLV-JFK-JAX (FL) in Y.
Option 1 AA TLV-JFK, B6 JFK-JAX (A320)
Option 2 DL on all flights (E175 on JFK-JAX)

Option 1 is slightly better in timing, since it leaves TLV an hour later. Option 2 is slightly cheaper.
Any other consideration I'm missing?

I would assume Delta has nicer planes and drop more leg room.
Also E175 should be roomier.

Why not take TLV MIA JAX. Does timing not work out

Thanks.
I’m stopping in NY for a week, so MIA wouldn’t help.

Coach Jetblue 39000
premium jetblue  83000
premium united 70000
Polaris 100000
Mint 225000
Or book through MR on united (selected airline) 72000 coach, 91000 premium econ
Book through MR on delta coach 51510

UR via SR:
United coach  41120
United prem econ 66320
JetBlue coach 34520

I would have to transfer either UR or MR to JetBlue if booking through trueblue.

What should I book? or is there a better option to get from NYC-LAX that I am not including.

Need to fly on a Sunday evening Chicago-PHL.

Staying in WRP. Both flights are $136 PP.

Option 1:
AA ex-ORD
Pros: closer and cheaper to get to, better experience delays-wise
Cons: don’t have a $150 voucher

Option 2:
WN ex-MDW
Pro: have a $150 voucher that’s burning a hole in my pocket
Cons: farther and more expensive to get to, we don’t have a great experience with their timeliness
Pros:
Formula for success: rise early, work hard, strike oil. –J. Paul Getty

As long you won't be spending $150 to get to/from the airport, why dont you use the voucher.

Are you asking @Dan if he thinks AA will get you to your destination EVER?

Does the voucher have an expiration date that you may risk missing if you keep holding it?

As long you won't be spending an extra $150 to get to/from the airport, why dont you use the voucher.
FTFY
Agreed, I'd take WN.

For next week:
Looking to fly to LAX out of Ohio/ Cincinnati/ Columbus/Indiana region.
Best price is Columbus with Spirit  to LAX at $230 a person.

However I can book with Avios Ind to LAX for 11,000 Avios per person.
However the way back is fortune - no points avil and price are crazy. Do I keep the Spirit   or book with Avios and hope for the best?

Flying TLV-NYC on a Thursday night / early Friday morning flight, booking using miles.

Narrowed it down to UA PE (787-10) or AA PE (772).
Slight preference to EWR, but it's not significant, especially as UA is 85k miles and AA is 65k miles.

Is there any significant difference in the hard product?

Friends, any general advice on NYC-Miami (early March) with the best practices for avoiding people in the airport/on the plane?

(Social distance for Covid reasons)

So far I have for airport: tsa precheck

And Thinking for-

Flight: First class ticket & travel Tues/Wed wld thin the crowds

Is there a specific time of day to fly where things will be emptier?

Any other creative tips? Am I on the right track?

Thanks

PS. Was looking at AA flights; now I'm not so sure after seeing Dan's post lol
