How much extra off the economy base fare is el al premium on the new planes? I know it depends on the season, but what is the range? TIA!

This is price. Not "additional" to economy

Anyone know if premium class gives lounge access in TLV?

Elal Premium Class (Report - YYZ-TLV)
« Reply #7 on: June 13, 2019, 05:22:17 PM »
Wrapping up a YYZ-TLV round trip in W (Premium):

We checked in 2.5 hours prior to departure at YYZ and there was no line for either Y or Premium, though we did notice that Premium had a dedicated line. There was no line at TLV to clear pre-security using the lane for Premium. Regular Y appeared to have about a 45 min-1 hour wait. Returning our rental car to Terminal 1 at T- 2.5 hours gave us enough time to make it to check bags with the kids and still have time to pick up a Yarden Cab at Shmoozy (using Priority Pass + 2 guests) prior to heading to the gate for boarding.

We liked the two window section seats in the last row (20). Nice to have no one behind you and there is good privacy with the curtain to regular Y kept shut for the whole flight. Some like the bulkhead seats, but I find they are too close to the galley and forward lavatories.

Service is good, but inconsistent. On the outbound, we received hot towels - but not on the return from TLV.

beverage service (with full display of liquors and wines) was from a cart on the return, but not on the outbound. Although a wine list was provided showing two reds and two whites, in reality, they only distributed one of each.

Flight attendants were all fine - a couple were genuinely very good. Premium has dedicated cabin attendants and it shows.

All in all, happy to have paid the incremental $300 on a $900 round trip economy ticket.

Sounds like you enjoyed.

My move  :)
Did they give you any trouble ordering a 300 shekel bottle instead of 100 per person or were they "with the program"?

I have three separate Priority Pass cards under my name.
Do you think they would allow me to get 900 shekels worth of stuff?

I was going to try that, but ran out of time.

Had no problem guesting in 5 and getting a couple bottles of wine.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

tried on way back on 787-10

the seats were nice. liked the screens. recline was pretty good.

the foot rest - it was hard figure out how to lower it, and once you figured it out it was hard to physically do.

the headphone jack is in an odd hard to find spot, behind you.

pillow and cover were very nice.

boarding was lumped together with economy plus.

food was a business meal-wasn't too good in my opinion.
it was served on dishes and silverware with a nice cloth napkin with a small wine glass.

the drink service was not served in glasses like other premium classes.
served in plastic cups (united over the phone said they were to serve with glasses and pretty sure TPG reported this as well)

the service was not premium service it was standard economy service which i thought was really not right considering the premium price UA charges(they also seem to charge more then elal on this route). there was no curtain either.

i will also note that Newark everyone waited close to 45 min for luggage to come out.
