Transfer desk is just before the ramp down to passport control.
Staff at desk said this is only allowed for Israeli citizens without luggage - can't confirm this.

Same Hechsher as the Dan lounge and many food outlets in the terminal (land and airside)
Aroma airside also has a Mehadrin Hechsher

I wouldn't eat any of the food due to hechsher.

Seems like the best game plan is to come with two guests, order a bottle of Yarden Cabernet or Galil Yiron, ask them to bring the bottle unopened and take it with you. You can throw in a cocktail to reach the 300 shekel.
If your two friends/family members also have PP, you can take turns being the account holder and the two guests so that at the end you each consumed  cocktail and got a nice bottle of wine to go.

But there’s no way to take that bottle on a plane to the US, as they don’t allow liquids.

1. It's not cooked or hot.
2. You make sure there are no fresh fruit/vegtables.
3. You make sure all the ingredients have a reliable hechsher.

I really wish someone could explain to me the difference between Rabbanut and Mehadrin. From my understanding, it has to do with the Mashgiach being there full time vs part time, not really Glatt vs not. But I could be totally off.

It is more than that including the standards on meat and which products and ingredients they will allow.

Dan in concourse E isn't open yet

Schmoozy is a nice variation to have a drink, watch some sport and also has a small smoking room.
Near the shul: Check in non-davening guests, make a food order, daven and get back to the bar as your food is served.
Or even order take-out and you've got a new option of BYOK (did that for a short flight serving Stogels)

Although the UA "TLV security" let me take a water bottle when I declared it...

Dan in E was open today, but for business class pax only. Looks much nicer than the regular Dan lounges
