One of my AU on my account is only 17 years old now, his name on the card doesn't match his ss number meaning the card has a nickname on it vs his real legal name if that should make a difference which i don't think does, now my other hunch is because hes 17yrs old which is the reason when i try to make his own login so he can see the spending he does and save offers to his own login i get the error "The Social Security Number entered for Additional Card Member is invalid", curios to know if anyone had luck adding an AU who's under 18 yrs old?

TIA

I was chatting with a rep on a chat online and they were telling me theres no ssn on the card, which i thought i added at one point, so i said can you please add it, after trying he told me it gives him the same error, so now im thinking either the DOB doesnt match or the legal name. will have to call tom. thanks though for the dp.

What info do you think is wrong which is causing this error?
Meaning I wonder if we have anything in common which is giving us the error?

The card I'm dealing with is a personal rewards gold card I had always thought his social was attached to his card but when trying to make his own login I discovered his social is never really attached he's under 18 and his name on the card is not his legal name if that makes a difference.
