Excellent report.  Enjoy this phase of family traveling.  Later, you will BH enjoy traveling with them and doing things you all enjoy.

And then they will be traveling by themselves, IYH.

+1 Don't make it go that fast please! And may there be miles left by then too, or money to support the hobby. :)

Thanks! Yup, no distilleries at all, but then again I wouldn't have gone even without kids as I don't care for alcohol. Kinda like you pointed out for meat.
awesome trip and report!   the distilleries are cool even if you don't drink. same thing regarding the guinness factory in dublin

Thanks, you're right and glad you enjoyed. Maybe, but try taking 2 young kids on any tour and you may find you enjoy it a lot less.

Before they understand what's being said? I don't know nor have I heard of any 9 month old liking a tour.

We drove by the Guinness factory twice. Was enough for me. I've been on the Miller tour in Milwaukee before, so how much different can this be?

Hi,

Great TR! Just curious, were you able to take the kids out on Shabbos in Edinburgh? Is there an eiruv? If not, what did you do?

The kids were little then, so they didn't really want to walk much. There's no eiruv, but we stayed down the block from Chabad in an AirBnb, so it was convenient to get to shul (for the kiddish/lunch they have after). Other than that, we just stayed inside with the adults taking turns going out for walks/shul.

How did you go for lunch? Kids were walking?

I'm not 100% sure, either they walked there themselves, the youngest one was one and a half, or they just ate other food that we had and not Shabbos food.
