You can double the discount if you ask to change how you receive the receipt. They will then take you to the screen that gives the different options which also takes another $15 off. It’s been the same the last 3-4 times Office Depot has had a discount on gift cards. Sorry if I’m not explaining very well. Someone else also posted about this the last time they offered a deal so I though I would share sincecits not a secret anymore.

Update. At the first Office Max I purchased $2400 and paid $398+, then later today I was in 2 other stores, did many transactions and some were coming at $353+ , others at $368+, I can't figure out the discrepancy . If they all rang at $353 , that would have been a great money maker + the UR. I used Amex Simply Cash and Ink . So far I did $30,000 hoping to add another 20k before it is over.

Today, no luck, all was fixed, the first transaction rang full price @ $413.90, they gave me a $15 office depot give it card, did not want to argue since they are letting me do several, went to the next store , rang $398.90 . I think it is over!!

How far did you need to drive between stores?

Not a long drive, have 5 stores , a mix of Office Depot and Officemax all within a 10 mile radius.  The Staples store I purchase from is 3-5 minutes drive.  NYC is a different story.
