Example Route NYC - TLV Jan 17-29 and many others...

YQ is only 320 and is not posting on Orbitz, Cheapoair and others...

proper tax is 320 YQ and 184.32 taxes - YQ has been self removed...

Tried multiple dates in Jan.
Also working when redirecting to Expedia even though initially it says a higher fare.

If it was nonstop, then it's a decent deal. But having a stopover and airline change, one of them being ELAL, it seems like just a yawn.

Norwegian has cheaper flights, $620 short stopover Jan 17-29.

This is same price and not with a LCC. Includes baggage etc.

I have many happy clients who flew Norwegian, and it actually comes with 2 bags.

Correct. Which is why I didn't point that out, but it does involve an LHR connection, an airline switch, and LY flights, all of which could be considered cons.

Depends where its booked. Sabre defaults to the fare that includes 2 bags (44 lbs each). But on the airline website, there are options of multiple levels.

Don't think the word is "defaults to" rather it's a special fare filed for GDS, that in the beginning even offered priority security

Interesting. I always wondered why the fare for 2 bags on their website is so much more than via the GDS. Unlike most airlines where even if they don't charge GDS fees, they will be equal or less on their own website (besides AZ who charges a fee for booking online)

Interesting anecdote regarding AZ.

I just booked a ticket for someone TLV-JFK-TLV on AZ and didn't realize on the booking page that fare said it doesn't include checked luggage. After printing the confirmation, I saw that no checked luggage is included, so I called AZ to ask for cancellation. They said they couldn't give a full refund because flight is less than a week away, but then they told me that 1 free bag is included in the fare, and sent me an email confirming that.
