Looks like there is a price mistake on ElAL from Toronto. Business nonstop $1,579 ow or $2,750 rt.  Booking class R.

Bookable elal.com, priceline, orbitz etc.  Fares valid until June as long R class available.

Seems like this is on the 767 which is angle flat. If you're doing this from NYC it will cost another $200 RT so doesn't seem worth it. You might as well pay $300 more and go non stop on a better plane

Btw, it could be you're getting confused. Generally, R is just an upgrade fare. But on select routes (YYZ included) they have a published business class fare for R too.

You're right. I see that the fare basis is M. Very interesting. Gotta be nuts to book a J fare (nonrefundable) if this is available.

The best part is that this is FULLY REFUNDABLE, so you can even book for multiple dates (if you don't mind the hold on your cc) if you haven't decided when to fly. It can be a chance for you to try LY's Dreamliner (starting Jan 13)
