And I think Trump seems to be delivering on those (despite the fact that the road there might be bumpy). Trade deal signed with Mexico today (I have no idea what the details are, but the bottom line is that there's something there that was signed by both parties.
I know this was written pages ago, but it was less than 24 hours, so you'll forgive me for bringing it back up.
I mentioned this in the other thread where someone brought up the Mexico deal. You're praising something you admit you don't know anything about, simply because something was signed. Never mind that nothing was actually signed (Nieto would have to actually sign before he leaves in November, and they've stated they're not doing a standalone deal, Canada has to join the convo). Did you praise the Iran deal because 'something was signed by both countries'? Can you articulate how you think NAFTA was bad for the US, and how this deal fixes those issues? What we've gained and what we've given away here? I'm comfortable assuming the answer is no on all counts, so I'm not sure why you feel Trump is delivering, besides the fact that he's not the other guys.
