Help: UIA stopover changed from 3 to 10 hours
« on: August 28, 2018, 11:27:16 AM »
A relative of mine is scheduled to fly TLV-JFK on Sunday on PS (UIA).
His flight from Kiev (KBP) PS231 was changed from 11:35 am to 6:20 PM, resulting in the stopover changing from 3 to 10 hours

What are his options? What should he push for?
Will UIA rebook on another airline?

You can call the Kiev call center +380445815050 and they will rebook on another airline (or if you want the same flights on another date)
You can also call the US call center 8008760114, lately they tell you they can only rebook within 24 hours of the flight but if you call after 8pm it should go through to Kiev.
You can send an email to bookinghelp@flyuia.com or contact@flyuia.com they usually answer within a day and they can rebook as well.

same here! They only notified my today which is 15 days before the flight, one day before they are required by law to inform in order to not have to pay compensation under the Israel aviation law.

You can decide to cancel your flight for a full refund at no cost or agree to take another flight.

just realized it was a few hours less then 14 days before the flight. Can I get compensation under the Israel aviation law if I keep this flight?
