I made a reservation on UA to TLV and it was in Z class.
I knew that it was the last day it was pricing for that fare so I gave them a cc right away, 4 hrs passed and it wasn't ticketed so I called them and they assured that it will be done soon, long story short I kept on calling and they kept in promising that it's on Q and should be done shortly. 11Pm I called again and they assured again that I'm guaranteed with the fare since I gave them already the cc, at the end it was not ticketed before 12, next day I rang them up again and they apologized that they couldn't book cause fare has expired. Bottom line they seem to me as another creepy so called corporate agency who doesn't even have their own contracts and ticketing.
You called a call center.. I don't know the quality of the reps there - i can only speak for myself.
I have already ticketed dozens of these - it is our own contracts and ticketing...

"If you are actually ticketing a TTC fare - rather than use a call center - where the skill level is "so-so"... happy to ticket for you at our agency where skill level is very good."...
As you know - even in your case - an easy United 24hr waiver would have covered you for ticketing the next day with a stored fare... Mb next time.
