This means you really never know. SBS, Smart & Final, probably $10k of PGGMs, plenty of signup bonuses I wasn't eligible for... Who knows if they'll assign a cash value to them and just charge it?
I personally am not just gunna shut all my amex cards but this definitely sets a bad precedent.

That would be pretty obvious to anyone who has been on DDF. This means that Amex stands to gain quite a bit.

So if someone had multiple authorized user cards, each with separate names, logins, and socials, Amex considers all of them collectively to be subject to the one offer per “cardholder” limit?

I don't have personal experience with this, but I imagine that they are allowing 1 offer per ssn.
