Got DreamCloud, and after waiting a while due to stock being low, and the jury still being out, I'm actually quite impressed so far.
That has a 1 year trial?
I just found a new supply of forks!

Indeed.
I'll give it a try too. I just scheduled a return (to salvation army) of my Casper mattress two weeks from tomorrow.  I see Dreamcloud has a a $200-off Fall coupon + 6% back through Ebates. Did you use any other good offers or get any accessories included?

from my experience , memory foam, doesnt hold up. not sure how they combine memory foam and coils.
i have the W plush for about 5 years now , maybe more, probably the worst mattress i have ever had. prefer the floor to this mattress.
looking for options too. but for heavy people the choices are limited.

There was a 20% bonus on Fairmont GCs+25% off Fairmont store+2 free down pillows+FS.
Don't recall cost.

How firm would you say the mattress is?

And Mrs. AJK says W Plush the best she's ever slept in... And I'm not far from that position.

I recently went for the Casper (the "Casper"). I find that it feels like sleeping on a foam padding compared to the brighter and more defined support of the W mattress. We're coming up to the end of 90 days and I'm thinking of returning. I bought it (+ sheets and pillows) using a $300 off $1,500 Amex offer on my SPG card, stacked with a 10% off coupon code.

I'm thinking of trying Nectar, a cheaper mattress in a box company. Nectar is not as well rated by Consumer Reports, but they have a 365 day risk-free trial period, so that's tempting.

Casper arranged for Salvation Army to pick up our Casper last Friday. No hassle and the refund posted as soon as I sent them a photo of the charity receipt left by the Salvation Army. To date, Amex has not clawed back the $300 from the original Casper purchase. We're now trying the Dream Cloud.  It's notably more firm than the Casper and has a taller profile.

It's both firmer and not at the same time. I very much like the euro top, which gives it a soft initial feel when you first get in it, but which then compresses under weight to meet with, what I agree is, a firmer actual mattress than the Casper Wave.

Having slept in it for a few weeks now, though, I wouldn't call it a "firm mattress," though the reviewers (and you) seem to disagree.

It's definitely taller.

wish that they would have reviewed the St Regis beds. Monarch Beach location had the best beds. (Rome was diff at their St Regis -- prob Europe overall is not the same as USA mattresses.)

Do mattress warranties really work? Like if I say in 5 years that it's really creaky, do they give full refund?

I got the dream cloud. It is really nice but very different from conventional coil mattresses . I like how tall it is and it is firm and plush all at the same time.
