I got the dream cloud. It is really nice but very different from conventional coil mattresses . I like how tall it is and it is firm and plush all at the same time.
I'd agree. So far we like it much better than Casper Wave.

Do mattress warranties really work? Like if I say in 5 years that it's really creaky, do they give full refund?
They pro-rate the refund.

They were when I priced them out 9 years ago. No clue if that’s still true today. I’d say probably yes.

Thanks! Did you go with their basic stuff? I forgot what they recommend, but did their mattresses hold up 9 years?

Went with something in the middle. Don't remember what it was called. They held up great so far, but I would say another year or 2 and I gotta get new ones. They are pillowtop so no flipping, doesn't last as long.

Returned casper. 800 got junk showed up, but during the course of my conversation with them, it became clear that the mattresses are counted and/or expected to be shipped back to Casper so the general idea would not have worked.

Got DreamCloud, and after waiting a while due to stock being low, and the jury still being out, I'm actually quite impressed so far.

So as your 365 return window closes...are you still happy?

Are you staying with it?

(You may not be asking me but since the question pertains to me...) I love it and will be keeping it. It is a great mattress. I love how tall it is. I find it cooling (breathable). It is great quality and can see it lasting well over a decade easily. To all those who bash mattresses that arrive rolled up in the mail: this beats the highest level of traditional spring inho.

@AJK How is the DreamCloud mattress holding up? Would you recommend it?

Anyone know the shipping weight and if I could take it as a piece of luggage (Have taken mattress in a box as luggage before)
Life isn't about checking the boxes. Nobody cares.

Still would recommend. My wife says it's one of the most comfortable mattresses she's ever slept in. (FWIW, I think hers has stayed a bit firmer than mine, in a good way, but I could be imagining it.)

I got the Casper Wave Hybrid Mattress and am actually liking it.

Not sure if the hybrid makes it different than reguler ol' Casper Wave, but that's what we got first and we returned it. I could have kept it and slept fine, but wife disliked it a lot. And we both prefer Dreamcloud.

No risk to trying it either -- free year risk free.

I couldn't turn down the price.  ;)

Anyone tried Helix? Looking at them vs DreamCloud at the moment - focusing on hybrids under $1000.

Also, I've ordered from Friedmans (to Queens) in the past, but never for something I've wanted to try out in advance. How does the pricing at Sleep Tight (in 5T), or frum places in Brooklyn, compare?
