Assuming price isn't an issue as long as it's priced within norm and I like something on the firmer side and need a mattress that's supportive.

Stearns and Foster vs Tempur-pedic vs something else?

Im looking to get a Full sized Mattress. DW and I like a little Firmer (not plushy Pillow top)

Looking to spend >2k for 2 beds

If you can afford S&F  that will most probably be your best option. All mattress styles come with 3 options plush, firm & extra firm ( in my case I have firm and wife has plush). Tempur-pedic  is not recommended because it does not have an innerspring.
BTW mattresses is one of the items that really increased in price due to inflationary pressures. Also, if you live in the Tri-State area local dealers like Sleeptight & Freedman's will meet or beat  the fairmont  black friday sale throughout the entire year.

Today, for about 5 minutes, the one on Amazon was discounted $650. I'll expect similar discounts. I'm wondering if they are both the same or does Fairmont have some specific construct to their mattress?

Looking for new beds and mattresses

So, I've been long enough on the forums that I'm allowing myself to open a thread asking for help.

I would like to know in general, but hopefully there are some true deals to be had this week.

So, I'm clueless about this subject. I've bought these for kids and guestroom, but those were really standard fare. As for beds for the master bedroom, they were last bought by my then-Kallah and her mother, around a decade and a half ago.

We're looking to buy a new set of 54" beds and new mattresses.

Please give some solid advice.
