To save you time, here's a sum up of this thread. If you're getting married close to NYC (yes, Brooklyn is in NYC) - just go to the Andaz 5th. :)

REMEMBER: You must take your kesubah with you, or give it to someone to hold for you. The kallah has to know where it is.

Why would you need a washer dryer in a wedding night hotel? To fold laundry together? How romantic.

LOL. They got WAY off topic and were arguing about apts. not hotels. ;)

I survived in an apt building without W/D for 3 years. Not the end of the world, though it sure is nice to have a house with attached garage and backyard.
of course i can survive without a W/D. Im just saying having one is not called a luxury.

I dont think anyone can say otherwise :at the end of the day living in Brooklyn is just horrible. No human should ever have to go through this.

In lkwd for $875 you can get a 2br with parking and a w/d brand new apt in a private house. I guess some people think its worth it to pay $1000 per month for the privilege to live in Brooklyn.

Newlyweds in some brooklyn neighborhoods (CH) having a car might be a luxury (and a PITA)

in CH it does seem more common for young couples to NOT have a car.

But the quality of life for some is absolutely horrid.

they don't really make suites with 2 beds unless you are fine with a rollaway
