To save you time, here's a sum up of this thread. If you're getting married close to NYC (yes, Brooklyn is in NYC) - just go to the Andaz 5th. :)

Don’t know if it furshure belongs here but here’s my question I booked for a friend PH nyc for 2 night one being his  wedding night so he furshure wants a suite I was thinking of tipping the check in clerk 100 bucks and thinking hel furshure give me a suite for the tip and with globalists status and honeymoon written down there he would give it to me or do you guys think I’m wasteing my money

Tipping (read: bribing) the check-in person to get an upgrade is shady at best, outright illegal at worst. If you want an upgrade, get it through the system.

+1 We had this discussion already. Either way this most likely will not work in the PH.

Deal or Asbury?

Doesn’t make a whole lot of difference but haven’t decided yet if I’m going to do a limo.

What difference does a limo make? The same way you'll get anywhere in LKWD......

Deal and Asbury have decent options compared to TR or LKWD.

You can even find boutique hotels dotted along the shore.

Is Wiki up to date for hotel for a night or two in the city?
Or is there something better thats around?
Not in the loop with hotels so wouldn't know!

And from there, depending on hotel, decide if it's worth to have them use with points or cash.. Thanks guys.
