To save you time, here's a sum up of this thread. If you're getting married close to NYC (yes, Brooklyn is in NYC) - just go to the Andaz 5th. :)

REMEMBER: You must take your kesubah with you, or give it to someone to hold for you. The kallah has to know where it is.

im getting married in lakewood in a few weeks. i have 2 free nights in any hyatt world wide. would like it to be within 45 mins. where should i go? thanks
I got married in Lakewood and did my research at the time. Within 45 min there are no nice chain hotels period, forget just Hyatt. Read the wiki to see more info about the American Hotel, 20 min away in Freehold. Had a very nice time there.

Not sure. Either way I asked for an honeymoon upgrade. They gave us a suite that had a couch.

Call up and ask, I spoke to the GM and she told me that if available I'd get the WOW suite. They arranged everything for me.

Any suggestions for wedding/honeymoon hotels in Montreal or California (central/northern)? Have a stockpile of Amex points I would like to use, as well as a handful of SPG.

Nice job! Got rid of my piece on Lakewood, since you included it nicely in the list. Also changed my name from @Yehudah to @Yehuda ;)

Any input whether to go with the W New York at Times Square or the Westin New York Times Square?
