Any point in getting the XR? Other forums are very critical of it and claim it's pure marketing and not worth anything near the $749 asking price. Problem for me is the other X's are way outa my budget.
I would get the X, does the same thing as the newer models and they're cheaper now that the newer models are out. if that's still too much you can always get the 8. still great phone and can carry the same updates as the current models...also the 7 works just fine
Regular price for the x is still $900. I got it for $500 BF, but that deal is done.
When was the $500 deal?
I am a fan
No, my daughter has it, so far so good. Mine is a 7s plus, time to upgrade, i'll either go for the X or the new XR.
Bought 5 of the XR last week, very happy with them.
You carry around 5 phones with you?
The XR is so big The XS size is much better but it's so expensive.
..Here’s the message: The new iPhones are huge. Absurdly huge. What’s going on? Bigger, costlier devices generate more profit, for one part. But for another, consumers seem to want bigger phones. They also want big houses, big cars, big televisions. Big is good, small is bad. But Apple also has been pushing bigger models on its customers, so calling the trend a consumer choice is misleading and incomplete.Instead, Apple is making a statement about how you ought to use your smartphone. Not casually, but wholly. With your entire face and body involved. Both hands gripped fast to the device, held close, so the external world can recede and the smartphone’s can take its place.
I had a PLUS, so the XR was a little smaller
Anyone know if there is a way for my phone not to automatically connect to optimum hotspots but to automatically connect to home WiFi? It seems that it considers optimum hotspots a known network...
Anyone have any experience with the knock off lightning splitters so you can charge and listen to music at the same time? This is the name brand belkin one but there's no way I'm shelling out $44 for it, and all the others on Amazon have horrendous reviews! Literally I can't find a single one that has better then 3.5 stars, all the ones that do have reviews for something else entirely. EG: they are reviewing a slingshot when the product is an adapter? Belkin Lightning Audio + Charge Rockstar, iPhone Lightning Audio Adapter/iPhone Charging Adapter for iPhone XS, XS Max, XR, X, 8/8 Plus and more ($44.00)
This is the name brand belkin one but there's no way I'm shelling out $44 for it,
$40 on Google Express, and can get 20% off (first order), bringing it down to $32.
Thanks, I also found it on ebay for $25. Still debating how much I really want/need it.
Lightning + Lightning or Lightning + 3.5mm?
