Bought united passes that were already used emailed the guy couple time a gave it 24 hours hasn’t responded what can be done.

Give it some more time. Some emails I don't check for days.

No, the expired ones I gave out was to my son. Chase is cancelling the passes once you close your card.

NPV of future deals is almost always worth more than a single scam.

Unless it's a really big scam or your mortality risk is super high.

Maybe the seller didn't know Chase cancels then after closing the card? Are you sure they were used and not cancelled?

No, I'm not the seller.

Could be a simple explanation of what happened. I didn't know mine were cancelled but the agent told my son they were activated and then cancelled.
