Amazon recently had the doorbell alone with a big discount for $110 (usually $200) - the chime is $30 and a year of service is around $30 making this a very good deal, evben when compared to the huge sale price.

Yes indeed a great price, i think im going to return my ring i bought from amazon for 120 after tax, factoring this one for 160 and a free year and a chime door bell.
  Or maybe keep both and use one for the front and back of the home?
 The free year will work for all my ring devices or only the $30 plan?

I moved into a development in Lakewood and switched the doorbell that they give standard (small white one) with the ring. It rings on the regular bell that it used to.
Extremely easy to install and also doesn’t use the battery as it is hardwired now

Only works if you have enough voltage in your doorbell battery (mine didn't). That's actually the reason why I preferred the ring 2 over the ring pro - ring 2 has the option of an external battery vs the ring pro which must be hardwired.

I suspect that it would work for all of the devices connected to the same account but I don't know firsthand.
