Just got this email from Aeroplan

When you opt in to receive text messages from Aeroplan, the earning opportunities come to you - wherever you are. 

And now you'll get between 100 and 1,000 miles just for signing up! 

Don't worry, we'll never send you more than four text messages a month. 

Text “join” to 27767 to get started. 

But first, be sure to add your mobile phone number to your Aeroplan profile.

Things to note: Each member is only eligible once. Members who are already signed up to receive Aeroplan text messages are not eligible for this offer. Once you sign up, you’ll receive a confirmation text message, followed 24 hours later by another text message letting you know how many miles you're getting. Offer ends Dec. 31, 2018.

Terms and Conditions 

The Welcome Bonus Aeroplan Miles are a one‑time bonus offer (“SMS Welcome Promotion”), regardless of language chosen to opt‑in, and will be awarded to the Aeroplan member's account subject to the following four (4) conditions: (1) the Aeroplan member was not already signed up in the Aeroplan SMS program when the SMS Welcome Promotion launched, (2) the Aeroplan member texted “Join” to 27767 during the SMS Welcome Promotion campaign period only; 9am EST, September 17th 2018 to 11:59pm EST, December 31st 2018 inclusively, (3) the Aeroplan member is still part of the SMS program on the day the miles are deposited; and (4) the Aeroplan member has a valid phone number registered to their Aeroplan account, and is the same phone number that was used to sign up for the Aeroplan SMS program. The amount of the Welcome Bonus Aeroplan Miles awarded is randomly processed; members will be awarded from 100 up to a possible maximum of 1,000 bonus miles.
