What synergies are there to run the same hub an hour away from each other?
Unless the plan is to close up shop in DXB and AUH and run one operation in DWC.

Not sure if it's about synergies, as much as taking out a struggling competitor. Maybe a move to DWC is in the cards down the road.

I doubt AUH will agree to them being taken out, though perhaps they would agree to a DWC plan.

I never understood having 2 luxury global airlines operating so close to each other. I know they are more like city states in the UAE but it always seemed like a huge waste considering how short the drive is between the two cities.
