It depends on state .
Could be $1 per gallon for thousand , could be 3500 points for $3.50 etc, not sure everywhere but I do know that it doesn't work in tri-state area

Thats a 10 dollar savings, assuming you fill up the full 20 gallons. Shell is usually about 25 cents a gallon more than the cheaper options, so in reality a 5 dollar savings. How does this make sense?

In Lakewood the shells are decently priced. So you'll get the maximum savings.

Certain Shells are very cheap, you just have to know where.
