If they gas is $3.05 or more in their area then they save $20. Whatís so dumb about it ? Because you are spoiled to save $30 -$35?

This is ASSuming they will fill the entire 20 gallons.

Mind you, most sedans and crossovers have approx 14-16 gallon fuel tank capacity.

For 20 gallon fill-up, thatís someone with a larger SUV / Minivan on near bone-dry empty.

For a good portion of end customers, these fill-ups present a $45-ish gross value.

Itís still $20 saved and you have no benefit or gain for paying the extra $20 to the gas station
So sell it for 50. I will pay full price before I bow to greed.

So you will rather not save $20 ? Itís still $20 saved and you have no benefit or gain for paying the extra $20 to the gas station
It all in the market. Supply and demand. If there is a shortage or itís difficult to earn the points and there are few sellers than itís their game.
Game called greed.
Life is as good as you make it...

If it does not make sense to you then donít buy. Especially if you are taking only 14-16 gallons. I know my car and I know the limits and $20 saved is still $20 saved.
When you are driving down the road do you go to the nearest gas station or you know that 5 miles down the road the next station is with .03 cents cheaper and you go there. ? And the savings is far less less then $20.

Same here, my limit is 35.
I was used to paying 20 and then.... and that's the end, 35 @ current gas rates.

This is less greed and more about supply and demand right now. I tried to keep a fair price but I kept selling out. I sold at 35 and had people messaging me to buy me out at 37. Just not enough supply to compete with the demand.

I believe in a fair price. A concept that is lost nowadays.

Fair is controlled by the open market through supply and demand. I'm selling out at $40, why should I sell for less?

Edit: FYI, I've sold 2 fills via DDf since my post

Why are you selling at 40 then? Raise it to 45. Don't confuse fair with greed.

I am well aware of the supply and demand. I was well aware of it before most of you even knew what FRN was.

What does keeping a fair price have to do with selling out?

Lets put it in simple term - PRICE GAUGING!!!
That is what is great about this forum. You can sell for whatever price you want.

Huh?
The gas station is price gauging
The points sellers are working hard to earn the points and selling you a discount on gas so you should not have to pay the outrageous prices that the gas station want to charge you.
If you want to fight the price of points by refusing to buy points any any price. Only your wallet is hurting.
