Best option TLV-ZRH?
« on: September 27, 2018, 10:32:30 AM »
Looking to go for a weekend ex-TLV (nonstop) at some point this fall/winter.

What's the best way to book? Cash? Points?

TIA.

Easy one. Check google flight for Elal or Swiss, they have really good fares, just booked ZRH-TLV round trip in November for $160. Luggage is extra but I only have a carry on. Not worth 25k M&M.

Thanks. How about 25k when redeeming Chase UR on Swiss?

I don’t know, should be cheaper if you book now. I’d personally never redeem Chase UR at 1.5cpm. Also Swiss might be a light fare as well, didn’t check.

It's only 1.25 for me, as I have the CSP in my first free year. I want to fly for a weekend, which I don't see for $160.

Pay cash, save miles for experiences. Unless you can manufacture more than you spend I guess.

Flight ZRH-TLV is at 9:45 am. Hanetz is 8 am. What are the odds of getting a minyan at the airport?

In my experience there is always a minyan in ZRH even when Netz is much earlier.
