? I don't see how this is #FakeNews? Regular, non elite Economy class passengers are not reaccomodated on other airlines. That's exactly what I wrote and that is a huge deal.
Maybe you didn’t read the article I linked.“American’s agents are allowed to reaccommodate anyone on joint venture partners, oneworld partners, and codeshares on non-oneworld partners in that order of preference. So if you hear people saying that American won’t allow reaccommodation on “other airlines,” it only refers to those who are not partners. (That is also why this has much less of an a huge impact on international domestic travel where partners are more plentiful.)”
@Dan No comment? You're usually the first to talk about these type of issues. I'll be Dan (no pun intended) Lekaf Zchus that you're traveling or something.

@Dan are you planning on writing this one up?
But not Delta or United. That's what counts, definitely domestically. This is a big move, and counts as a typical bad AA move.
Wasn't it Delta that started this a couple of years ago saying they wouldn't accommodate AA due to AA's lousy performance and low compensation for the seats?
Since the beginning of the year, AA does reaccomodate on Delta, too, but now they do not allow non elite economy passengers to be reaccomodated on Delta or United.
Yeah I'm basically done with American for this and other reasons. Once I spend my miles (not so many), and I'll probably dump the credit card.
