Do other airlines also let you switch devices? It can be great if traveling with a few people together...

Apperently it won't work within 30 minutes of TLV. I wonder what the security issue is with that.

Or maybe 30 minutes from landing. Flew LH 2 days ago and it gets shut off 30/45 minutes from landing as well

In the US it only works 10k ft +. JetBlue offered on LGA-BOS a special service that FlyFi works gate to gate

FlyFi works gate to gate on many JetBlue planes.

I flew back and forth from TLV to LAX this week on LY's Dreamliner. I have to say I was positively surprised by the Wifi

Still showing up as beta testing so apparently free for everyone on flights to and from the US.

I had decent connection for the first 2.5 hours out of LAX, then went to sleep but I don't believe there is anything around Greenland, then ongoing since over UK (when I woke up)

I did a speedtest, below. Not sure how they will price this once it goes live officially.

The free trial period ended last week and here are the new prices until April 30th. I'm assuming LY is testing these price points and will finalize them in May
