If i wanted to request a goodwill late removal from BOA, who would be the best one to contact and what would be the best way?
(Specifically, would it be best to email brian.t.moynihan@bankofamerica.com, to email thong.nguyen@bankofamerica.com, (to call (704) 386-5681, although calling usually isn't a real option), to send a letter to the executive offices at 100 North Tryon Street, Charlotte, NC 28255, or none of the above?) Thanks.
Who do you think you are fooling? You think you are going to pull a quick one on your Creator? Good luck with that.

Welcome to DDF :) 50 active is just getting started

Yeah, that's not a lot. 100+ is also not as uncommon as people might think, and I'm talking primary open cards only.

Thanks! I should email Brian? (That's what the success stories on Google were. CB search isn't too effective.)

is chase not considering fico's?

They do use FICOs, but can approve without considering them.

Not trying to rub it in, but NEVER let anyone use your name unless it's family and you get the money either upfront for 6 months at a time or upfront a few months. Also, you should be making those payments from your account.

Just to let it go and hope for a friend/whoever to remember is a no no.

How old are the lates?
over a year. i was just trying to do a favor for a friend and no the payments did not come out of my account
Don't wait for the perfect moment; take the moment and make it perfect.

If anything, Chase disregards FICO more than most lenders and goes on how they "feel" about your profile.

Is spending/CL ratio effect on score calculated per account or per total CL?

For utilization, FICO counts:

1. Overall utilization
2. Individual utilization
3. Number of cards reporting a balance

I'm assuming individual utilization has less of an effect than overall, correct?

Not necessarily. If you max out a card but overall utilization is still good, your scores will still suffer.  Any card 90%+ will tank your scores.

You need to keep track of all these things.

Yes, in most cases.

Some issuers report at dates different than the statement date.

Mid cycle meaning before due date?

No, I'm explaining it. Let's say last month i let my last statement close with $2500. Today i have a $1000 balance, and my current statement closes on December 10. If i pay off that $1000 now, chase will report to the CBA as soon as payment posts a balance of $0. Most companies won't report anything until the  statement closes, so until then your balance will be reported as last statements balance of $2500.

I see. But $0 balance will only be updated going forward from that date, correct?
