Also, is there a CB acronym master thread? Their usage is a bit overwhelming...
Here's one

Can you please link it here?
I spent a good 10 minutes trying to find it, with no luck. All I got was the thread staying "amex D* is dead".

Also, is there a CB acronym master thread? Their usage is a bit overwhelming...

CB unfortunately has made the advance topics forum viewable only after signing.

Just make a user account.   There's no min post count or anything

Hey, thanks!

There is a very low threshold as far as post count goes to be an unrestricted member.  The Advanced sub-forum over there is fairly new, out of sheer request from the members....still evolving.

Either way, it's a great companion resource so I'd encourage peeps to make an account.   :D

Hi everyone!

If I apply for a chase credit card and ask for an increase in credit for another chase credit card that I already have on the same day, is that one pull? Or is it two?

Thanks for your help!

Don't know if it's another pull , but a dangerous request .

How do you know how Much CL you will get on new card . If enough ask to move
some to older card  Instead of CLI .

1 pull if both are personal, or both are business.

I would first apply for the credit card. Once I get a decision (hopefully approved automatically), then I would hope to increase the credit of another card on the same day.

Great! I hope so. Did you end up trying this?

I have not done this, but it's true, and I'm sure someone here can confirm.

I just found realized that the DOB being reported by EQ and TU is wildly inaccurate.

Interestingly enough, that never was an issue when opening Credit Cards, as I've opened many this past year.

I already submitted disputes via fax, EQ says they will take 24-48 Hrs, and TU says 5 days.

Can I apply for more credit while there is a ongoing dispute?
Will it hurt my chances of Auto-approval or approval at all?

Thanks!

Maybe dangerous was too strong . I meant you might be thought to aggressively be seeking more credit .

Why would it look different than asking for credit on a new card?
