Don't you need to PUTPAC to cancel that? A PITA!
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

Yes but it's automated system now. Don't need a live person.
Use virtual card so you don't need to remember to cancel

Haven't used virtual cards in years. I remember Citi had them. Does Chase have them? How do you get one?

I've gone 3 to 4 months. There's no rhyme or reason
Are you saying that Amex FICO score wasn't updated in 3 4 months?? I.E. would it be possible that I'd log into my Amex online account today and see that the last update is dated sometime in November?? :-\

Have bank of America

You can find it on your online account. It's called "ShopSafe".

I had no idea of this. So I can get a new virtual number every time I request it?

Either amex or barclays did that once

Barclays updates your FICO every 10 weeks OR when there is a change in your credit report on their trigger list.  Some of the triggers are minor and other factors that may be considered more important often do not trigger an update.

Yes.
And when I request a new one the old number becomes invalid?
Can I get more than 1 at a time?
