is it better/any difference if I let one credit card close with 95% credit utilization or lets say a few different ones with 60%? and does it hurt long term or it will recover when payment is made by next month?
it all depends on what the limits are on the different cards

Do all banks report data from statement closing day? Is there a scenario that a bank reports data from a given day in the month, no matter if it's closing day?
+1 would love some clear data points on this

If there is enough interest why not. I am sure the CB guys/gals can add to it or give some links to it at CB.

The DoC list is pretty short.

One of the few uses for Credit Karma is to see when your cards report.

DCU, for example, does not report my statement balance but the balance as of the last day of the month.

It's a good start though. Can we add a list to this thread's wiki, and update it as we go?

Why would reporting timelines of CC issuers be added to a credit score wiki?

Better in the $2 trick thread?

I feel a new one would get lost in the credit cards subforums, and the search function here isn't too user-friendly..

Now BofA also added FICO scores for their amex cards. Not sure how accurate it is but there is a vast difference when compared with credit karma - 30+ points in my case.

Credit Karma is 100% USELESS when it comes to scores.

Fed up with EX/Amex. Called to have AU removed, results of the dispute came back as "processed" (aka no change). Disputed again, same results. Disputed with CSFB and got the same result so I closed the AU account and disputed it again and they still refuse to remove it.

Yes.
Dispute again, say new reasons. I had to dispute a few times to get them removed.
