Are all of those from CC apps? If not that happens quite often.

CMIIW, but besides Barclay's, most issuers don't care about pulls if everything else checks out.

Yes, CC apps.

1 was a mortgage pull.

Can the Banks even tell the difference between a mortgage Pull and a credit card application pull?

CRA's are required to verify any information that you dispute. If they fail or can't verify the information it must be deleted. Google is your friend.

Im in the midst of looking/buying a house, will opining a new CC hurt my mortgage qualification? (I"ll make sure it closes without a balance) and does it make a difference if its a charge card or credit card?

It is generally better to avoid applying for new credit before a mortgage.  That being said, IF you have a strong overall profile, a new application won't necessarily give you issues.  I applied for the Amex Platinum 100K offer last fall less than 3 months before a mortage app.  For the mortgage, I had to explain every inquiry within the previous 120 days and whether or not it resulted in new credit.  I was never asked anything beyond that.  YMMV

It helps to know your mortgage scores, which you can get from MyFico (the older scoring models you get with a 3B report).  They are typically lower than FICO 08 scores mainly because none of them go up to 850.

If you have a thin report and are anywhere near the line for top tier for mortgage approvals, I would avoid applying for anything.

MF only gives you the full 3B with the additional scoring models once per year or when you purchase it independently of the monitoring service.

Just buy a 3B and see where you are for the mortgage scores.  You can check the pinned threads on CB to see if anyone has posted discount codes.

For anyone interested, you can now get your EX FICO 2 score from NASA FCU for free monthly.  That's the EX score used for mortgages.  You can also get the EQ mortgage score from DCU monthly.  That's 2/3 for free.

What do I need to have with these institutions to get a score, account, CC, or MEMBERSHIP?

NASA FCU  seems to be a $5 deposit.

Just membership, which requires a savings account.

If you are interested in getting a credit card from them, the max limit is $30K.  When you join, if you apply for a CC on the same day it can be approved with only a soft pull.

Do they tend to approve profiles with many new accounts?

Average age is about 2.5 years...

You have nothing to lose though since it will be 2 soft pulls.

BTW, if there are any Navy Federal CU members here, post your support for NFCU offering a free TU 04 FICO here:  https://creditboards.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=567183
