Interestingly, towards the bottom of the letter they also say that my Experian FICO 3 score is 721 (though they don't cite that as a reason for the denial), Barclay, Citi and AMEX are all sowing credit score north of 740 (reason is that I took a nice amount on a 0% BT so utilization is a little high now).

Anyone ever try US bank reconsideration? Do I have a chance? Don't have any of their cards.
Interestingly Barclays just updated the credit score and it actually went up 20 points, showing an even greater divergence from the Experian score quoted by US Bank.

Does US bank have a reconsideration number?

Which card shows me free Experian FICO 3 score?
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

You can check how many inquiries there have been and when they were. Also 5/24 is not apps but new cards. So check the accounts to see how many you have had in the last 2 years.

Amex just shows you your score, no details.

Credit reports can be seen via Annualcreditreport.com or on any of the 3 CBs sites if you want to pay. You can also check CreditKarma and CreditSesame for open accounts and inquiries.

If I'm not doing heavy spending and paying everything on time, what's the reason that my credit score is going down?

Will a installment loan impact my credit score? I know it has  been a discussion in the past if it helps or not, but will It hurt? The only thing I can't think of is that I'll just have more debt on my CR but if my income supports it is there still any downside to it?

If I'm on a joint account and the primary holder was over 60 days late on their payment, is there anything I can do to remove this from my own credit report? Being that I'm not the primary? Tia

AFAIK joint is the same as primary for this.

Anything I can do in this situation? If it was already sent to the credit bureau, will a goodwill letter help?

It is worth a shot. Remember they have all the power and you are at their mercy. Accept responsibility and let them know you would be extremely grateful if they could remove it as a one time curtesy.  Lay it on but not to thick.  :)

I did the verizon shtik with the LG g4 etc and i owed them just under $400. I forgot to pay them and went out of town for the year and no one was checking my mail...

It went to collections. I disputed it with address change and didn't receive statement etc and now there is a note on my report saying "Account information disputed by consumer, meets FCRA requirements"

What does that mean?

It means the charge has been disputed by you but then verified as being legitimate, and after verification it can stay on the report as it meets Fair Credit Reporting Act requirements which are federal regulations.

So I guess I have to redispute it?

Seems to me that he said it was verified as legitimate. So why redispute?
