I wonder too. Also my credit karma scores are right in line with my real experian from USAA, while the fico by amex is way lower.

USAA and Karma both use Vantage Score 3.0 (Fako), while Amex uses Fico 8.

Because those scores you get from USAA are NOT FICOs.  That's not a "real" EX FICO score at all.

The score from Amex is an EX FICO 8 score.

How is it possible that my score on transunion is so and so, but when I checked on my discover account which gets the score from transunion, it comes up 34 points more? Any ideas?

Btw now that it came up, do you know anywhere I can get the Equifax credit score for cheap or for free?
And, will it work to apply for 3/4 citi's cards at once with 3 browser trick?
And, I see that in NY cities pulls from experian and Equifax, is there a way to freeze Equifax so that they only pull from experian?

Yes
Is the score you see on Transunions's site a  "VantageScore 3.0" or a "Fico 08"?
IIRC discover is experian IME
The score that Discover provides it's cardholders is Transunions's Fico 08 score. Poidh.

Discover has a separate site, called CreditScoreCard.com that offers a Experian Fico 08 score every 30 days.

Perhaps you were confusing the 2?

You can get a free 7 day trial from Credit Check Total, see all 3 reports and scores, cancel after a few days.

Citi only lets you apply for 1 card at a time these days. Search up about their 8/65 day rule on how often you can apply for a new card, but it's off topic for this thread.

I always apply for Citi with EX (Experian) Frozen, and they pull EQ (Equifax) for me.

It's vantage score..
How can I know which one will it go by (fico 08, or vantage score) when it comes to applying for a cc?
My Equifax is terrible compared to transunion or experian, so if I apply for citi I should freeze Equifax, no?

Citi uses a version of the Fico 08 score.

Vantage scores are almost useless for credit card applications.

Credit check total should have given you a Fico 08 score for each one, no?

I just checked my Amex FICO score and it shows a 6 point decrease in my credit score from a month ago when I have had no pulls and no late payments during the month. What might have happened?
