Just had a 50 points drop in my Equifax credit score ( as per citis website ) and can't figure out why.
Don't see anything that could have triggered it.

Nothing. No cc apps. No missed payments. No high balances. Very odd.

Why did I just get an email from Citi that I could get my fico score for free? Was it only certain Citi cards and now all of them?

When was it updated? What's the date on the score?

The date on the score is 06/21 but on 05/24 it was 50 points higher. Guess I can wait to see what happens when it updated again, but just weird that I dipped so low.

A 50 point drop is something to be concerned about coming out of nowhere.

After you pointed out the dates of the score, I realized what happened. I had a cc bill from Barclays that closed with an af in may, that I forgot about, which was reported as a missed payment.
Barclay agreed to waive the annual fee, and retroactively had the penalties removed from my credit report.
The credit score drop must have happened bec. of that, and the score never updated yet to reflect the penalties dismissal.
Interestingly enough my transunion, and Experian score didn't take such a plunge.
Thanks for the help, Cappy.

One of the people who's accounts I help manage saw a steep decline in 56 points from April to May (according to the Amex Fico history graph). It has since come back 19 points. Whats easiest way to see what cause that steep decline?
I am sometimes accused of overthinking things. I am still mulling over whether that accusation has merit.

I see on my credit report that when I signed up for 2 amex cards last year, 1 buz and 1 personal I see bc they made me wait (they said since other app is pending) it counted as 2 pulls. Can I dispute this? What do I tell them?

Call experian and say that you applied for a Amex card and they by mistake pulled 2 times and they should please remove it.

Applied today for an ink and reserve...reserve get accepted and Ink declined cuz they said a collection agency called Trident assets mngmt llc reported a $244 debt. I never heard of them and never recieved anything from them and when googling it they seem like they have alot of complaints to BBB. How do I go about disputing this cuz still wanna call recon back within 30 days and get this app approved??

Absolutely. It's not allowed on the report after 7 years.

Can I dispute accounts that show up on my credit report if I'm only an authorized user?

How long does it usually take for a dispute to be resolved?

Yes, it should not take more than 30 days once they receive the dispute. You are disputing the account as "not mine" because technically it is not your account.

Its not allowed to report 7 years later even if they gave to agency 8 years later and agency reports cuz they just got it?
