Oh I knew what it was. I just told them that my dad opened a British airways card at the end of last year and I have nothing to do with it. I guess they found it... ;)

Did you check your credit reports yet to see if it was removed?

PSA:
Based on the last 2 months of statements, the Fidelity Card that is now provided by Elan Financial Services (US Bank I believe) does NOT report your statement balance to the Credit Bureaus, rather they report the month end balance (or thereabouts).
My statement balance in  August (closing date of 8/7) was $50.00, however my CR (pulled from CK) show a balance of $7,397.  The date on the report shows it was reported on 7/28 (last Thursday of July).
My statement balance in September (closing date 8/7) was zero, however the report shows a balance of 14775 (99% usage) reported as of 8/31. I checked my transactions, and that makes sense. I have made multiple payments through the last 2 months.
I know CK is garbage for score, but it seems to be reliable for report.
When my citi card closes next week I will check Experian website to see what they show.

I have a question and figured this is the best place to ask.

I had an interest charge (5.80) that was adjusted ( the adjustment transaction date is the same date as it was received if that make a difference)  now bank of America reported it 30 days late as the adjustment was done after 65 days after posting. After calling and sending in letters and speaking to supervisors which all also understood it should be removed from the credit report  as the interest charge was charge wrongful, I was transferred to the credit department which report to credit report and Diego a rep in that department said they would not remove it due to me being billed I should have paid it and afterwards I would have gotten a credit, I tried to explain I was told it going to be credited on the next statement and I don't have to pay it  he wouldn't budge he gave his id and told me I can file a complain whatever I want . is there anything else I can do or is it over is there any government oversight  I can complain to Any input will be appreciated.

It's not the interest being reported on your report, it's the 30 days late payment, correct?

Do banks use a different fico score for mortgages, and cc ?
The experian credit score that I get from AMEX, and discover is significantly higher then what showed up when they checked my score for a mortgage.

Try the CFPB, I had a lean by my state for late tax payment removed, I had a tax extension and paid over the phone the same day I received the bill, the state would not remove it, with proper documentation the CFPB made the credit bureaus remove it.

We have a paving assessment due to the county. There's the option of paying it off or making yearly payments attached to our property taxes at 4.5% over 10 years on $2600. Normally I would make a lump sum payment, but we'll be putting the house on the market. Will the lien on the house affect our CS? Not looking to buy another place but wondering about impact with applying for new CCs. Currently hovering at 799.
