Experian: 800-493-1058 With A Report Number

Experian: 714-830-7000 (Without A Report Number) Call and Press 0. You will get connected to the switchboard operator. Tell them you just called in and entered your report number and the automated system disconnected you. Ask them if they can get a human on the line for disputes. That's the only way you'll be able to get through to a live person at Experian without a Report Number.

Definitionally, a person with $0 balances on all CCs has no utilization. This isn't hard.
Give it break and stop looking so foolish. Read more and post less and you will learn something about how this works. Your the same guy that wants to spread out his inquires.

Applied for Fidelity CC and they are seemingly processed through Elan. No instant decision, No pull of any sort as of the last hour and supposedly can only check on the status on Tuesday the earliest. This is a very weird experience. Anyone that can chime in?

Elan is a card servicing division of US Bancorp.   They run the products for a multitude of credit unions and smaller banks.  And the Fidelity 2% card.

Yeah, I figured. I'm not saying look at me (actually my wife), I'm awesome. It's just somewhat odd, especially since she has 2 hard inquiries in the beginning of January. I guess inquiries really don't do very much to your credit score.

Inquiries don't have a big impact on people with long, thick credit profiles. They can have a huge impact on short, thin profiles.

My wife's credit history on her report is only about 16 or so years. Not that long. And inquiries did nothing to her score. As in her score is perfect so it didn't reduce it even 1 point.

Now inquiries can be an issue if you're applying for a mortgage or other larger credit type purchase. They won't impact your score but they're on your report. The bank may want to know why you're applying for all these credit cards and it could make them nervous that you've applied for credit so frequently.
