I recently applied for a chase card and was declined, so I transferred $2000 in credit from another card to get it opened. My credit score dropped close to 50 points, with the main factors being a reduction in credit and a new account. Will this revise itself once the new cards statement is reported? (it may have already) Did I miss something? Just looking for some info as this was a bit alarming.
Score will slowly bounce back within the next 3 months. But then again, every credit profile is different.

Was this a FICO score? The only change was moving some CL?

No, it was credit karma, which I know is not 100% factual, but it does say something. My statement did close with a little higher of a balance than usual but nothing that should have made a difference.

FICO probably didn't change much at all.

Look at the graphs I put in the wiki showing ck jumping all over and fico barely moving. Ck is utter garbage and useless. Does more harm then good. It's OK for monitoring ur report but useless for actual score.

Chase deleted an account but for some reason it wasn't deleted from TU, just EQ and EX. Disputed and a day later it was gone.

Lol neither do I. Someone I know has one from a medical group due to an issue that wasn't their fault. Once it's cleared up, they will need to get it wiped from their report.

Your friend should register with CreditBoards, and start a thread in the medical collections forum.  It appears (no personal experience) that people are highly successful getting medical collections removed following the processes outlined there.

It should merge automatically, give it a couple days.
