Pushing off payments isn't an official policy for those who have it?

No.  Most loans when you overpay it goes against principle and then you get the next period's statement.

But those who work otherwise, it's more like a hidden feature, not boasted?

What about getting a copy of the terms? Should state how payments are applied.

If an auto loan from the same CU allows prepayments, can I assume the personal loan does as well?

I checked PenFed, Navy and Alliant.  I can't find any complete loan disclosures relating to personal loans that are available to peruse prior to applying.

You have any DPs on PenFed in action? I know their Auto loans allow you to prepay.

Prepayment ≠ pushing out the next payment due date

I'm going to say it one last time, go read some MyFako threads and see what is working for people nowadays. I'm not going to respond to any more of these questions about the installment loan hacks.

We thank you for your time.
(when I said allow prepayments I was referring to pushing out the next payment)
Would you care to share some links?

I never go to MyFako unless I happen upon a link myself somewhere that seems interesting and it's been a couple years since that was the case.  Anything worthwhile there hits the blogs or creditboards or here. You just missed the Alliant boat.

I do know that a Chrysler/Fiat lease works but I wouldn't recommend leasing a car for a couple FICO points.

NFCU works but the backdoor is closed and I wouldn't recommend joining the Armed Forces for a couple FICO points either. :D

Too much for me.
My main question is if an auto loan pushes off payments, is it safe too assume the same bank would do that for a personal loan. Because I know FAFCU and PenFed do that for Auto Loans.

Thanks. It is quite important, but I lot of it references the details of the Alliant SSL which I'd have to inquire more about first.

The legwork of providing links isn't enough.  You're supoosed to read it, digest it and formulate a circles and arrows post.  Why do you think I bowed out?  LOL

I was looking for a more specific link. The one provided is the thread of "looking for an alternative"
