that credit analyst named cai is even giving us more knowledge the bobwang, he has all info
Hell No!

While Cai was insightful, he worked for one unnamed company.  We all know Chase is different than Citi is different than AMEX...keep going down the line.

The FICO knowledge works across the board, and towards installment loans and everything else FICO dependent.

he says he worked for different credit issuers, and he says that ppl think fico has much more influence on approvals then they really do

He understands things from a more limited perspective based on the companies that he worked for.  While it was insightful, it was not groundbreaking information.  Many of us already knew that about FICOs and approvals.  How do you think people with an EX of 660 get approved for a CSP?

BobWang contributed way more information, knowledge and science to our understanding of credit.

I'm confused, after reading that I'm thinking why do you put so much effort with the $2 trick and everything to bring up your fico score if it dosend have so much impact on approvals as he said?

Don't confuse what he said or what I'm saying.  FICOs DO have a big impact on approvals, especially instant approvals.  They also help you get higher credit limits.

BUT FICO scores are not the only factor in the decision making.

And he also views things from a limited perspective, as we already said.

but I guess someone may have a fico score of 850 but he will still not get approved for a csp if he had 5 cards in past 24 months

I have one more question to the experts here from cb, if I am doing the $2 trick meaning to say I have every month -1% utilization do I gain anything on my score from having higher cl? Does your score go up more with higher cl no matter what your utilization is?

Happy to try and help - not exactly sure how it happaned. I called on Tuesday had a superviser call me wensday to say nothing they can do. Send in GW by letters and emails on Wednesday afternoon. Got a call Monday afternoon from a supervisor that said because I said I had trouble logging in to the site to pay they will take it off the credit report. Didn't inquire into what method worked just thanked him.
