Yup just trying to boost my wife's profile thanx

Only add her to cards that improve her AAoA and also report $0.

Definitely not. Amex AUs don't help at all with building credit.

Any other AU that reports, is old and has low to no reported utilization will help.
what's the deferens between amex and others

Could one of the mods or Dan let me know if it would be OK to start a master credit reports/scores thread here?

It seems that there are several threads that have some basic discussion of these topics here, and it would be nice to have it all in one place. This also seems like the forum that this information belongs in.

It would be nice to set the tone from post 1 with a new thread.

I'll wait to start working on something until I get an OK.

Amex reports all AU accounts as new.

All other issuers report the complete history of the primary account.

It's best to build a profile based on your own cards though. AUs can help you get started, but should not be the focus.
Why is it any worse than getting a new account yourself? (I think I understood his question differently than you did. It seems that you were right, because I now see he wants to know about adding an AU now. I thought he was an AU already, and wanted to know if that was helping build credit.)
Who do you think you are fooling? You think you are going to pull a quick one on your Creator? Good luck with that.

You can definitely start a new thread. I think you mean starting a new board that can have individual threads. That would be great! Thank you so much for your contributions here.

I definitely don't have time for that. Lol

I just mean a master thread that lays out the "basics" for reports, scores, tweaking your profile for the best scores etc., and a single place for general questions about those topics.

Why do you need special permission to do that?

so if i add someone that dosent have any credit to my amex card, it will not help that person to get aprroved for ther own account after a few months? I always knew that thats helping even with amex
Do u have any different idea for a signature?

it would be the best thing u can over do here on ddf, as u probably see the ddf'ers are gaining loads of scoring knowledge from u being here, so im waiting for u to open this credit master thread. ( i dont see why u should need permession, the mods here r not so involved like the mods on cb..... ;) )

Anyone have the direct link to view EX score within 60 days of a pull for an app? The letter that I got with the card just says experian.com but don't see anything on that page for viewing a report because of a pull.

KABLAM!

http://www.experian.com/reportaccess/

Select "Request my Credit Report" and on the next page it asks if you've had any adverse action. Say yes and you're off to the races!

If you got a credit limit or apr or anything based at all on your credit profile, that's adverse action.

Only if you didn't get the CL requested or did not get the most favorable terms (not the lowest APR).

All you get is a credit report, not a score. The creditor should send you the score they used.

Yes, they sent me the score. I just wanted to see the report so that I can see the pulls on my account.
