Yes, they sent me the score. I just wanted to see the report so that I can see the pulls on my account.

Did you get the lowest APR offered on that card?

No idea lol. I never pay attention to the APR because I never carry a balance. I clicked on Adverse and it worked. Is that bad if I really did get the lowest APR?

I don't pay attention to APR either. Carrying a balance at any APR negates rewards.

It just means that you weren't offered the most favorable terms. Criteria vary based on issuer and product.

If I was able to view my report after I selected "yes" to adverse action, does that mean that I didn't get the lowest rate or would it have worked even if I did?

It means the CRA accepted that reason.  They gave you access based on the inquiry.

So, just checked my wife's report, and there was an AU account that I didn't recognize. Scrolled down to the bottom of the report where it lists the names associated with the SSN and I see my SIL's name. Turns out, my FIL took out an AU card for my SIL, gave my SIL's name, but used my wife's SSN.  >:( >:(

1) How does Chase even accept that if the SSN doesn't match the name?

2) This account has been on her report for 4/5 months and he's been letting it close every month with 90%+ utilization.

Do I just call EX and explain them the situation and they'll remove it all? Will her score still be negatively affected even once the account and my SIL's name is removed?

I've had great success submitting disputes online, but the most effective way would be to send a letter Certified mail, Return Receipt Requested. I've never had to present evidence, but YMMV.

It depends on what you are disputing.

Amex reports all AU accounts as new.

All other issuers report the complete history of the primary account.
My wife's and my scores ranges around 800 with aaoa of about 4 years with low utilization and minimal balances. Would I gain anything by my dad adding us as authorized users to his discover card? Would that report as a new card dated now or backdate to his opening date 10 years ago?

800 FICO, 4 yr AAoA, low utilization.  You should be able to get anything, with your current limits and income being the ony X factor in determining the initial credit limits.

What would cause a card to have "ND - No Data" for a certain month on a credit report (EX specifically). The card is still open and it's definitely not the first time that the card wasn't used for a billing cycle. Does this negatively impact my score at all?

It has no bearing on scores when reported that way. It means that either the card issuer didn't update that month or if you had late payments, after 7 years the late was removed and replaced with ND.

Ok, thanks. Wasn't a late payment and it was from last month.

If you had a negative on your report and you disputed and it was taken of. How likly will it be put back on? ( a late payment on a closed card)

Not likely. The CRAs are required to notify you in writing within 5 business days if they reinsert negative information that had been removed as the result of a dispute.

"The CRAs are required to notify you in writing" Do they actually?

It only happened to me once, and I was not notified. It was easy to get it removed.

It will probably fill in next time your card cuts a statement.  And if you're nit looking at your paper reports from EX, then the payment fields are a little whacked anyways.

Which scoring model? Remember that mortgage lenders don't use FICO 08 scores.
