The CRAs.

Hard pull?
how long does it usually take to get a response from them?

Have 3 separate student loan accounts that are 5, 4 and 3 years old that for some reason don't show up on my CRs. Haven't made any payments yet but that's because I was able to defer all of them interest free so they're all in good standing. Do I want them added to my CR? They would raise my AAoA, but already have 3 other student loan accounts on my CR right now.
BUMP. Anyone know?

I've never gotten a hard pull as the result of a dispute.

Reaponse times vary greatly. Expect 30 days with EX.

You can't force them to report. They will probably report once you start repayment.

Oh, ok. I feel like it may not be on my report because when the loan was taken out, I didn't yet have a SSN. I've since given it to them though so who knows.

File a complaint with the CFPB.
Did this and heard back on the dispute with EX already. Same result. They verified that the AU account is mine and therefore have not removed it. I don't get how everyone else gets them removed and I've hit a brickwall...

File another complaint against EX.

Same exact complaint? Just resubmit? As a side point, has this ever happened to anyone here?

If I cancel cc with no pre set spending limit will it affect my credit score as loss of credit line? If yes is it possible to transfer the credit line to different card?

Assuming you are talking about a CC with NPSL and not a charge card, it will effect available credit and utilization. NPSL credit cards still have and report a credit limit. Years ago some did not.

As long as your utilization is in check, your credit score should not change.

Yes, many issuers such as Chase, Citi, BOA, Amex, US Bank, Discover, Barclaycard and Cap1 allow to to move limits.

If I close an AU card, will a credit bureau remove it from my report or will they say it has to stay on my report for 10 years like regular accounts?

Sometimes they get removed and sometimes they don't.  You shouldn't have an issues getting them deleted in most cases if that's what you want.  You can't force them to stick.

I want it to be removed. First choice would be to keep the AU account open and still have it removed but having no luck with that.

What did you say?
Me: Hi I applied for a card and I see that by mistake or something there's 2 pulls on my report.

After holding while he checked my report

Rep: It only counts as one.

Me: but I see it as 2, would you be able to update it for me?

Rep: If you want it to be removed you have to contact the creditor.

Yep. EX no problems, EQ has also not done it for me and I don't know of success stories.

Just confirming- 2/3bm is a myth? As long as I apply to same bank (chase) on same day it's only one pull?
