I just checked my experian report and i still see a hard pull from 5/11/2014, isent a hard pull suppose to fall down from your credit report after 24 months?

With EX, they fall off after the first full non-holiday weekend in month 25.

My scores all just TANKED this month (at least the ones provided by Barclay and Citi and Amex.)
I did not do anything different other than PAY OFF a $3k balance i was carrying on a 0% card. Other than that, everything is the same. I paid off all my outstanding balances as usual but have the same amount of current balances I normally do.

So, I went and got my annual free credit report from all 3 bureaus and checked them for delinquencies or anything negative. Nope. All clear.

SO WHAT HAPPENED?  :o

Which balances are reporting on your credit reports now?

Were the balances that reported on Chase cards?

What were the old and new FICOs?

How old is your oldest account (exact date)?

What is your AAOA?

I am just looking at TU since that is what Barclay uses. A few cards are reporting balances of 2 or 3 k each. But that is totally normal for me. I always have 5-10k a month reporting. My ratios are always still low.

FYI attached is my history from Barclay's FICO.

I see you added some questions. I will try to answer but I will have to use Equifax report because TU doesn't have all this info (at least as I can see.)

2 cards reporting balances. I am having a hard time going through all the revolving accounts and telling which are the ones reporting a balance.

Oldest account is 23y 11m. Average Age is 5y 4m.

Without knowing which cards are reporting balances, there is no way to see what's going on.

Unfortunately I don't know what that is, based on your credit reports.

Just got a denial on a US Bank business card.

Denial letter said too many recent credit applications (though I think I only applied for 2 cards in the last 12 months).

Interestingly, towards the bottom of the letter they also say that my Experian FICO 3 score is 721 (though they don't cite that as a reason for the denial), Barclay, Citi and AMEX are all sowing credit score north of 740 (reason is that I took a nice amount on a 0% BT so utilization is a little high now).

Anyone ever try US bank reconsideration? Do I have a chance? Don't have any of their cards.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

I'm having an issue with a company, and canceled my service plan with them. They  charged me an Early Termination Fee of $200, which I don't feel I should have to pay. Is there any risk of it ending up on my credit report as a delinquent balance if I don't pay it? Thanks.
Do u have any different idea for a signature?

Yes. It could end up on your credit report. I am not sure if it will show up before it goes to collections, or only afterwards, but IIRC for cell phone bills there's a 2 year statute of limitations on collections.

According to the $2 trick, not using all your cards except for 1 should only improve your score.

It may eventually make an account go dormant and not update with the CRAs.  That may or may not have a small negative effect, depending on your overall profile.

For any card that you aren't going to use regularly, but a 50 cent Amazon GC every 3-4 months.
