My TU CS is 734
You should be fine with amex and chase. Amex is easier but I would start with chase only because of 5/24.

Start with Amex as Chase will be under 5/24. Then try Chase once Amex reports.

I was originally going to advise doing that but it  figured if he could get one or two chase cards approved, it would be worth getting as many chase cards that are under 5/24, wait a few months, get more and then when you're at 5, move on to amex. I'm not sure if that's doable but it's worth a shot IMHO.

Could get Amex first. Then a couple of Chase cards. Have the AU removed. Then a couple more Chase cards.

True, all I'm saying is that you're getting rid of one possible chase card, your way may be a better idea though.

Maybe a CB guru will chime but with thin of a file I am not sure how many Chase cards one could get.

True, an amex card would definitely help, I would say credit card over charge card.

If you are referring to the newly redesigned page, it's FICO (Bankcard Score 2).

Does a credit check from verizon, or direct TV regarding a internet plan affect your credit score ?
