Not a legal issue but AFAIK the CRA's won't even accept it.

Exactly they only report it if it’s more then 30 days past due in that case it will affect your credit.
Does citi even have a dm option or just email?

If I had a statement balance of 1k on a Chase card, and when I paid it was $1,005, will they only update if I PIF, or they will update it to $5?

If it's mid cycle they will only update if the balance is paid to zero and no pending charge interferes with that zero balance during the evening's reconciliation.

So there is no way to have it report $5 vs $0?

No. Chase is poison for the $2 trick.

I was pretty sure if you can schedule it right there is a way to do it, but I may be mistaken.
Need to figure out if I can get a small balance to report soon

AFAIK, Chase either updates to zero or does not update at all. It's certainly possible there is a method I'm unfamiliar with though.

Found a BOA card closing on the 28th, Did a $3 Amazon reload, hope that'll do the trick I just need it to report before the 1st.

It's been stated repeatedly not to use Chase for the $2 trick. But in typical DDF fashion, lets make it more difficult than it has to be.

I decided yesterday that I should have $2 report by the 1st, and I thought none of my cards are closing at the right time, so I figured that was my only option....

first try with the bank as a 1 time courtesy

sent them a secure message and this was their response.

Unfortunately, we do not delete information that has been reported
correctly to any credit reporting agency.

We regret not being able to accommodate your request.

any tips on what now?  any point in retrying or calling them?
or better try and contact transunion...

I applied for a loan and was told my Experian Report is frozen. I did not request the freeze. I tried contacting Experian but can't get through to anyone.

Can someone please suggest what my next steps should be?
