Aha. IINM they used different CRAs, otherwise not.
An interesting thing I just discovered today. Discover.com uses TransUnion when showing FICO scores for cardholders, whereas CreditScorecard.com by Discover uses Experian. I checked both scores today and there was more than a 40 point difference (which could also be explained by different dates of pull).
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

Is that only for CC holders, I don't recall seeing anything on the bank account side.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

Do balances on accounts where I am an AU affect my credit score? If yes, what's the best way to fix this (other than having AH pay off the balance).

If they are reported, 100%!
You need to have them removed, the best way to do that is with the bank, for Amex call 18008742717, they are as easy they they come (aside for when a spouse is the AH).
For Chase they will make you cancel the AU first,  I don't know much about other banks. If the banks won't remove it, dispute it with all 3 CRAs and it'll be off in no time (again, unless they know your spouse is the AH)
Good luck!

What is AH? Primary account holder?
So with Amex they will remove them without closing the AU card, and with Chase need to close the AU card first? Who needs to call , the primary holder  or the AU?Thanks.

An AU on my Chase card that i took off still had the card on his report as: responsibility - Terminated. It still infales his history, even after it was closed.

Can't he insist that the CBs remove it completely?

I have no idea.
In that case the Au wanted it on his credit report, because without it he had a very thin credit file. The reason i took him off was because Chase closed all his cards, and that same day my cards were also closed, and I felt he was the trigger (Or I was the trigger to him) BH i was able to get them all reinstated (and btw when they reinstated my accounts, they even reinstated a card that they closed by my last A/A in 2012 or 2013 without even asking!) but I was scared to keep him on, so i took him off.

Does Capital One still do GoodWill removal?

Got hit with a 30 day late on a card that's been open in good standing for over 15 years, over a small balance. (Changed bank accounts and forgot autopay)

What kind of things can I try to get them to remove it?
Does mailing the EO still work?

Thanks!

Source?

Mine says it's FICO 8.
No longer. Checked today and they switched to VantageScore 3.0

Yes but it is not 100%. You do seem like an excellent candidate. Good luck.

How long does it take for a canceled card to post on your credit score?
I canceled my Amex SPG a year ago and it just hit my Score now. Before canceling I looked at a post which said that it takes 10 years to hit. I guess that's outdated...?

Did you transfer your credit line before closing?
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.
